I've lived on the Island my whole childhood, and after a time away at university getting my Engineering Degree and some work experience I have returned home! I'm familiar with many 'islanders' and all places Manitoulin. It's the home of my family, my wife's family and most of our friends. The island is my true home.
I went to the University of Ottawa and enrolled in the co-op engineering program. I completed four placements under other professional engineers including an acoustical engineer (offering experience sound proofing), CANMET (increasing my knowledge of renewable energy and 3D modelling), and XSTRATA (now known as Glencore in Sudbury - I enjoyed this job so much I went back a second time! Being close to home was amazing.) After my education I worked towards my professional engineering status. I then managed multi million dollar projects from start to finish.
Now I'm back home on Manitoulin Island and I've taken my passion for energy efficiency and design into a business. I am currently taking on clients wanting a new build, renovation, addition and slab on grade (garages etc). I can't wait to work with you, please contact me now to discuss your project!
